Office Manager
Chris has been an important part of Five Pines Dental since joining the practice, bringing experience in both front office operations and patient care. As Office Manager, he oversees patient relations, scheduling, insurance coordination, and the day-to-day operations that help our office run smoothly.
Known for his attention to detail and friendly personality, Chris enjoys helping patients feel welcomed while ensuring every visit is organized, efficient, and stress-free. He believes honest communication and teamwork are essential to providing an exceptional dental experience.
Outside the office, Chris enjoys baking, exploring Portland’s food scene, spending time outdoors, and relaxing with his dog, Barbara Hamilton.
Kierra
Treatment Coordinator
Kierra helps patients navigate every step of their dental care, from scheduling appointments to explaining treatment plans and maximizing insurance benefits. Her healthcare background and patient-first approach allow her to make the financial side of dentistry easy to understand.
She enjoys getting to know each patient and helping them feel comfortable throughout their experience at Five Pines Dental.
Outside of work, Kierra enjoys weightlifting, spending time with her dog Nova, and taking advantage of the Pacific Northwest whenever the weather cooperates.
Lexi
Insurance Coordinator
As one of the first people patients connect with, Lexi helps coordinate appointments, answer questions, verify insurance, and provide clear communication throughout the patient experience.
Her compassionate personality and organizational skills help patients feel informed while minimizing unexpected insurance concerns. She takes pride in creating a welcoming environment where every patient feels heard and supported.
When she’s away from the office, Lexi enjoys exploring Portland’s bookstores, coffee shops, parks, and local restaurants while spending time with family and friends.
Stephanie
Registered Dental Hygienist
Stephanie has been helping patients improve their oral health for more than a decade. She is known for her gentle approach, calming presence, and commitment to patient education.
She enjoys helping patients feel comfortable during their visits while providing personalized recommendations that support long-term oral health.
Outside the office, Stephanie enjoys hiking, biking, playing guitar, and exploring the mountains with her Jeep.
Anthony
Registered Dental Hygienist
Anthony has always been passionate about dentistry and patient education. Inspired by his father’s career as a dentist, he pursued dental hygiene to help patients understand the connection between oral health and overall wellness.
He enjoys building relationships with patients and providing practical guidance that helps them maintain healthy smiles for years to come.
Outside of work, Anthony enjoys spending time with his wife and dog, watching sports, playing basketball, and relaxing with movies and video games.
Rhyn
Registered Dental Hygienist
Originally from Lahaina, Maui, Rhyn is passionate about creating a positive dental experience where every patient feels comfortable, informed, and cared for. She enjoys building meaningful relationships while helping patients feel confident about their oral health.
Her gentle approach and dedication to education allow patients to better understand their treatment and feel empowered to care for their smiles.
Outside the office, Rhyn enjoys traveling, supporting local volleyball organizations, and cheering on her favorite sports teams.
Olivia
Dental Assistant
Olivia brings enthusiasm, compassion, and attention to detail to every appointment. She enjoys assisting patients throughout their treatment while helping create a calm and supportive environment, especially for those with dental anxiety.
Her passion for science and patient care continues to inspire her as she grows professionally alongside the Five Pines Dental team.
Outside of dentistry, Olivia enjoys painting, drawing, music, dancing, and spending time with her cat, Pluto.
Sara
Dental Assistant
Sara has worked in healthcare for many years and enjoys helping patients feel comfortable throughout their dental visits. Her calm personality and clinical experience make her an important part of the Five Pines Dental team.
She especially enjoys assisting with restorative procedures and contributing behind the scenes to help every appointment run smoothly.
When she’s not at work, Sara enjoys relaxing at home with her cat, Meatball, and spending time gaming.
Ava
Dental Assistant
Ava combines clinical dental assisting experience with front office knowledge, allowing her to support both patients and the team throughout every stage of care.
She enjoys helping patients overcome dental anxiety and loves seeing the confidence that comes with a healthy smile.
Outside the office, Ava enjoys concerts, caring for her plants, spending time with her kitten, Perdito, and discovering new music.
Catharine
Co-Owner
Catharine oversees many of the behind-the-scenes operations that help Five Pines Dental deliver an exceptional patient experience. With a background in communications and marketing, she is dedicated to continuously improving how patients interact with the practice.
Her focus is on creating an environment where every patient feels welcomed, appreciated, and treated like family.
Outside the office, Catharine enjoys hiking, skiing, horseback riding, and spending quality time with her family.
